Requests for the use of the Catholic Church and/or its Parish Center are commonly made. Requests by anyone can be for many reasons. Rentals are restricted to conformity with Catholic Church law, meaning that the event represents the Catholic Christian faith. One example to illustrate this is that the Parish Center can be scheduled for a wedding reception only if the wedding is held in the Catholic Church or has been authorized by the Catholic Church with a dispensation such as when a Catholic marries a person in the other person's church. The dispensation must be granted by the Diocesan Bishop/Tribunal for the validity of the marriage and use of the Parish Center. This is Diocesan policy.
Also, the hall is available at 3:30 pm during School Days - NO exceptions without the written approval of the Pastor and Principal. The hall is available for use by parishioners for Church approved activities, but the Pastoral Council and Finance Council have both agreed that the School operations and the protection of its students and faculty is a priority.
