  • ​Thursday, September 28 - Saturday, September 30 - St. Thomas Gigantic Garage Sale in the Parish Center. See flyer below for more information.
  • Sunday, October 1 - Newton Square Respect Life Sunday Life Chain. Prayer service at 1:45 p.m. Life Chain around the square from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. See flyer below for more.
  • Sunday, October 1 - Respect Life Sunday Life Chain 2023. Prayer Service at Sacred Heart Parish Center at 1:30 p.m.  Life chain on Keller Drive from 2:00-3:00 p.m.
  • Thursday, October 5 - Day of Prayer for the Prayer Campaign for Life at St. Mary's. Immediately following 8:30 a.m. Mass until Noon.
  • Thursday, October 5, 6:00 p.m. - Jasper County Health Department Bingo Fundraiser in the Parish Center. Doors open at 5:00 p.m.
  • Sunday, October 8 - Harvest Picnic at St. Thomas. Raffle tickets now available. See flyer below for more information.
  • Sunday, October 8, Dusk - Family Life Center Fundraiser at the Drive 'N Theatre
  • Friday, October 13 - Day of Prayer for the Prayer Campaign for Life at St. Thomas. Immediately following 8:30 a.m. Mass until 2:00 p.m.
  • Sunday, October 15 - 50th Anniversary Brunch for couples married 50 years or more, hosted by St. Thomas Angels. Brunch served in the Parish Center immediately following the 10:00 a.m. Mass where Fr. Pawel will give a marriage blessing.
  • October 17-26 - Holy Land Trip with Fr. Dean. Registration currently underway. Brochures available in the foyer of the Church.
  • Tuesday, October 24, 8:30 a.m. - St. Thomas Church Cleaning Crews (August, September, October, and any other volunteers) report for duty in the Church.
  • Saturday, October 28 - Eucharistic Congress at the BOS Center in Springfield. Doors open at 10:30 a.m. Mass at 4:00 p.m. St. Thomas & St. Mary's will be taking a bus. Call the St. Thomas Parish Office (618/783-8741) if you're interested in riding. The cost is $10.00 per person.
  • December 7, 2024 - Date set for Confirmation/First Communion for children entering 2nd grade during the 2023-24 school year.
